Dear Mr. President,
I am writing this letter because I am worried about the choices your administration is making. When you were running for president, you made big promises to help everyday people. But right now, life is getting harder for a lot of families, not easier.
You promised that you would make things cheaper, like groceries, rent, and energy. But prices are still going up. It is very hard for normal, working families to pay for the basic things they need every single day.
Other promises are not turning out the way you said they would:
- Jobs and Tariffs: You said new rules on trade would bring back factory jobs. Instead, these rules made things more expensive for our farmers, and people are actually losing factory jobs.
- Healthcare: You promised better doctor care for less money. Instead, changes to programs like Medicaid have made it harder and more expensive for people to get the medical help they need.
- Immigration: You promised to only go after people who are dangerous. Instead, the rules are hurting normal communities, scaring people in schools and churches, and separating families who didn't do anything wrong.
People voted for you because they believed you would make their lives better. I ask you to please look at what is happening to real people, fix these mistakes, and keep the promises you made to take care of us.
