Mr. President,
I’ve watched you again dismiss a reporter not with an explanation or dialogue, but by labelling them “fake news.” Instead of clarifying your words, addressing the concerns, or engaging in conversation, you default to a tactic of shutting down questions with a blanket accusation. That behavior doesn’t inspire trust — it signals that you prefer avoiding accountability rather than embracing it.
When our leaders refuse to answer questions directly, they weaken the very idea of open governance and public service. By consistently branding media coverage as “fake news” instead of facing tough questions, you create an environment where truth becomes optional and criticism becomes silenced. Our democracy depends on more than just image — it depends on genuine conversation.
You owe the American people more than a sound-bite dismissal. If you want to be taken seriously as a leader, start treating questions as an opportunity to connect, explain, and lead. Stop hiding behind rhetorical attacks and start showing up with substance.
