Letter to the President

Dear President Trump,

I am very concerned about orbital objects or satellites which over fly America just a few hundred miles above. I believe America is highly vulnerable to an electronic pulse weapon over flying it and detonating. Such a orbital attack

would.be able to destroy most civilian electronics nationwide with very few detonations. Those explosions probably wouldn’t even be heard or seen by American’s but they would be able to destroy all unprotected electronic’s nationwide.

Being that such a pulse attack could be launched by any nation, the U.S. would probably not even be able to retaliate because it will have no idea which satellite exploded and who owned it. It could be days or weeks before the U.S. is able to research out who even attacked them and we could be dealing with invading ground troops by then. 

Our military would probably be left active but I’ve seen estimates that it would take 1 -2 years for people to repair the damage from such an attack. Unfortunately I’ve also seen estimates that 90% of America’s population would freeze to death the first winter after such an attack because most heating equipment requires the electronic chips that a pulse attack would generate and we would not have enough to go around.

I am raising this electronic pulse subject because I believe America is extremely vulnerable to an orbital or (even sub-orbital pulse weapon) right now. The U.S. needs to immediately ban all unidentified object over-flying America because they could carry nuclear material or weapons. This is a real threat that could be carried out by even a nation without its’s own nuclear weapons. They would just need an ICBM to carry it into a low orbit and detonate over America. 

I saw Iran test an ICBM last week, the U.S. should have shot it down no matter where it was headed. 

The U.S. did not shoot it down. I suggest that the U.S. use its Space Force personnel and assets to monitor these orbital satellites and destroy everything that over-flies the U.S.. If the U.S. ignores this “orbital, sub-orbital threat” I believe it is just a matter of time before an enemy becomes motivated enough and capable enough to attack the U.S. with an (orbital, sub-orbital) pulse weapon from above. 

I raise this issue because such an attack would be so easy and so unexpected and so hard to defend against. America needs to prepare now for this attack possibility of an enemy seeing this vulnerability and acting on it. I can only hope that you have seen this attack possibility and made sufficient plans to avoid it.
