Letter to the President

Mr. President,

I am writing to you because I am very concerned about what’s happening with Ukraine and Russia right now. We are seeing more missiles, more escalation, and more danger of this turning into something much bigger. This is not what the American people were promised.

During your campaign, you said clearly that you would end the war in 24 hours. That was one of the biggest reasons many of us believed in you, because we are tired of endless wars and of our country being dragged into fights overseas. Yet here we are, still watching things get worse instead of better.

It feels like America is being pulled deeper into this conflict, and regular citizens like me don’t understand why. We are struggling here at home with the economy, prices, and security. We don’t want our tax money going to another foreign war. We want peace. We want our leaders to keep their word.

Please, Mr. President, do what you promised. Find a way to bring this war to an end quickly and stop this dangerous escalation before it’s too late.
