Letter to the President

Dear Mr. President,

I am writing to express my deep frustration with the current state of our government. In the past, when shutdown threats arose, it was usually because the President’s party only controlled one chamber of Congress, and conflict with the opposition created gridlock. But this time, your party holds both chambers, and still you cannot come to an agreement.

Instead of taking responsibility, you continue to point fingers at Democrats—who hold no real power in this situation—as if they were the cause of the chaos. This blame-shifting is dishonest and insulting to the intelligence of the American people.

How much longer will we be subjected to these lies, half-truths, and empty threats? The country deserves leadership, not constant games and theater. Instead, we are led by someone who chooses to mislead, to sow division, and to act like a buffoon rather than a statesman.

Enough is enough. It is time to own the failures of your party and your presidency, and to finally put the interests of the people before your personal agenda.
